Fall is here! And as many of you know, it is my favorite season. I love dressing for the weather, and I thought that I would come to you all today with a few outfits that I’ve been wearing throughout these autumnal weeks.
Perhaps one of the most versatile outerwear pieces for the fall in my opinion is the anorak/utility jacket. I decided to do a play off of shades of blue and green by pairing this olive green utility jacket from Target with a pair of denim cutoffs. Transitioning from summer to fall is all about lighter, breathable layers!
For a more casual, comfortable vibe, I wore this simple graphic T-shirt that I purchased from Charlotte Russe.
What really made this outfit come together were these open-toe blue velvet booties from gojane.com. Velvet is certainly trending this season, and what better way to introduce this trend than with a late summer/early fall outfit perfect for everyday wear!
Sweater dresses are so simple to wear and accessorize when you don’t feel like putting together several pieces of clothing. I purchased this ankle-length sweater dress from my local H&M.
For a slightly more Bohemian look, I wore this suede and fringe drawstring backpack as an added accessory. (The backpack is thrifted.)
And for my shoes, I opted for some black lace-up gladiator sandals that I purchased from Target.
If you don’t know by now, leather (and suede) is of my go-to materials for Fall! I can’t go a week without wearing either of those, and last week was no exception.
As a lover of neutrals, I paired this oversized distressed leather jacket from Wilson’s Leather with a midi bodycon dress from Forever 21.
This outfit screams Fall! Shades of purples like burgundy and plum compliment my skin tone very well, so it’s no surprise that I reach for these colors when the autumn comes.
Yet again, I opted for a sweater dress. This mock neck sleeveless dress from ASOS pairs perfectly with my multi-colored patchwork booties from Nordstrom. These shoes are seriously my favorite at the moment, likely because I’m in love with the tortoise shell heel. (I also purchased another pair of these patchwork booties that are gray, camel, and navy with a tortoise shell heel, of which I will also be wearing this season.)
When out for a casual dinner with friends, it’s all about sophistication and simplicity for me.
And what better way to incorporate both of those attributes than with a blazer? This gray blazer made by Sag Harbor goes perfectly with my white ripped skinny jeans from Lulu’s. I opted for a basic black shirt from Forever 21; and for a pop of color, I paired the outfit with a blue and black color block heel from Target and a pair of blue reflective aviator sunnies from New York & Company.
I hope you all enjoyed this mini fall-inspired lookbook! Stay tuned for more outfits to come in the following weeks!
