On Sunday, October 30, one of my new nurse friends and I decided to grab brunch at a local tavern. I personally love finding new places around town, and definitely wanted to discover somewhere with a special on mimosas, because what’s brunch without a mimosa?!
After weighing our options, we decided to brunch at World of Beer.
World of Beer is a relatively new restaurant in Augusta, GA, and is just minutes west of Downtown Augusta, located on the Washington Road strip. They serve everything from Belgian waffles to burgers to, of course, 50+ kinds of beer on tap!
I chose their Bottomless Booze Special, which entails endless mimosas, bloody marys, or beermosas with your choice of a breakfast platter for only $23.
I opted for the beer batter pancakes, served with bourbon maple syrup, and added a side of bacon. The pancakes were thin and slightly crispy, less reminiscent of pancakes from popular breakfast chains like IHOP, but tasty nonetheless. And you just simply cannot go wrong with bacon.
At the end of the afternoon, I can honestly say I got my money’s worth. I had 5-6 mimosas ($6/drink), the pancakes with syrup ($8/plate), and bacon a la carte ($2). Getting the special, I saved myself about $17-23 dollars!
If you’re in the Augusta area, and want to try a new place to brunch, or casually eat, check out World of Beer!

I love keeping things simple, especially when it comes to my outfits. For my brunch outing, I wore this oversized knit sweater with a pair of dark wash ripped jeans and some taupe-colored fringe heels. I am such a huge fan of Fall and neutrals, and this outfit encompassed the best of both worlds.
